Brilliant target, great club for Ince
Phillips, Ince perfectUnder Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

After all the numerous debates about signing older/last payday/mercenary/ players, here is a player who would be the complete opposite of all those factors and the type of player many have been wanting qpr to sign and STILL there are some people who are not happy that we have been linked with Tom Ince! What exactly do these people want exactly?
Tom would tick all the positive boxes surely!!

Yeah strange....if we are going to sign younger players they will inevitably not be the "perfect" player. That's where the coaches come in and iron out any little flaws, and tbf they are little flaws if there are any to youngOriginally posted by twranger View PostAfter all the numerous debates about signing older/last payday/mercenary/ players, here is a player who would be the complete opposite of all those factors and the type of player many have been wanting qpr to sign and STILL there are some people who are not happy that we have been linked with Tom Ince! Ince's game. Consistency will come. Great signing if we can land him....but i think he'll be talking to a few clubs yet to find the best deal.....for himself of course

Think you can take mercenary off that list TW as the way his old man has worked the circuit with him and pimped him out I think money is a massive motivator in whatever club he ends up at. Not knocking him for that as I would not work for free but its clear what the agenda is from the both of them although a decent player does lie beneathOriginally posted by twranger View PostAfter all the numerous debates about signing older/last payday/mercenary/ players, here is a player who would be the complete opposite of all those factors
Usually a telling indicator of a players true worth but I reckon their just sour that there going to get next to nothing for him as he's out of contract and we continue to nick their best players off them starting with Carlise, Shittu, Kasper, Phillips and now possibly InceOriginally posted by Gtleighsr3 View PostBlackpool forums arnt very complimentary to him or us

If they are good, they are too expensiveOriginally posted by twranger View PostAfter all the numerous debates about signing older/last payday/mercenary/ players, here is a player who would be the complete opposite of all those factors and the type of player many have been wanting qpr to sign and STILL there are some people who are not happy that we have been linked with Tom Ince! If they are cheap, they are no good
If they are big names, they are past it
If they are young, they are unproven
A 17-year-old Messi or a 32-year-old Ronaldo wd have some on here harking back to the glory days of Tony Sealy...

Quality comment.
Personally, am over the moon we are going for this type of young player with awesome technique. A player who Inter Milan and Monaco also see as great potential also.
Fingers crossed this happens.Last edited by QPRWeRTogetheR; 16-06-2014, 06:56 PM.

People were starting to jump on Phillips back when he came back from injury then he found some form and every thought he was the answerOriginally posted by rickyranger View PostVastly overrated, unproven in the prem hence not that many prem takers, couldn't get into palace side, old man is a big influence and certainly not the right sort! If we do sign him give it a few months before he becomes the lastest figure of the fans hatred. Not for me.

I think R's fans have to accept that David Silva, Luis Suarez, Eden Hazard and Aaron Ramsey aren't coming and whoever we sign there's going to be a divide of opinion.
Funnily enough, there's probably R's fans that wouldn't want some of the names I've mentioned above.
Ironically, we haven't signed anyone yet!

Putting his age to one side I never really rated him and I was delighted we signed Phillips because I think he is the better player. Strong as an ox and although ince has his own qualities he tends to be in and out of games., so personally not overally bothered by this rumour. Also the fact he turned down inter something doesn't sit right for meI played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Appreciate it's all about opinions but for me he has been touted as the next big thing for quite a while without many takers, might be down to his dad, might be attitude, might be ability or even a combination of all three but very surprising if he is as good as many think that he hasn't gone to a bigger club. Made his debut in 2010/2011 and in four seasons has only played 114 times so only really a regular in a poor Blackpool side and remember was released by Liverpool.Originally posted by West Acton View PostPeople were starting to jump on Phillips back when he came back from injury then he found some form and every thought he was the answer
