Back them, fine - but like the rest of us, how do you know the Club have "demanded to take the name without any recourse".
"Bullying by any other name" comes under the same heading as "speculating without knowledge of the facts" in the name of supporting your cause, in my book.
As I said in an earlier post, this has had legs for about 12 months and I think it is unrealistic to just suggest there has been no element of mediation and/or proposal made by the Club in that time.

Regardless, the tactic they've resorted to is an unsubtle call to arms for QPR fans to put pressure on him (and sadly on social media that comes with lots of abuse), and that leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

If they don't have a legal option to forcibly take the name (and the fact they've taken 12 months to get this far suggests they haven't), and they can't persuade him to donate or sell it, then that's just unfortunate and we move on.

The current club leadership have once again demonstrated their haphazard, clumsy, callous and excessively public approach to transaction of awkward affairs that are best kept private. He has the @QPR account & is using it to post info about QPR; therefore, the club has every right to dispute this. How many neutral fans out there would be aware that posts by @QPR is not the actual club?

This isnt like a 'URL' and Twitter cannot simply change rules if the twitter handle is being used regularly.
