I certainly don't remember much I loved at the time about getting relegated by Huddersfield, and having Fulham taking the **** as they passed us by. Vauxhall motors in the cup? I'd say embarrassment was the only feeling I had that night, and no poor season in the championship could make me ever feel that embarrassed again.

I don't buy into this club has lost it's soul. We are the club. We're still the same. The atmosphere to me seems the same apart from the seasons where we won promotions when the fans were on a high, and if we'd have strolled the league this year I think we'd be feeling that same way.

Agree with you there Mellow, Without a doubt footballs changed, and definetlty not for the better in general terms.

For me those days were just filled with worry. Some memorable games stick out but I think it was more to do with the fact after such a prolonged downward spiral we at last had something good to go and watch.

Agree with you again there. We are at a crossroads, only thing I think is, if we do go for someone with the future in mind and adopt a long term goal, I just don't think we have fans that are patient enough.

People's opinions change throughout the season based on how well or bad were doing. I just think as soon as things take a nose dive a lot of our fans go into meltdown.
