Ok, but a buyer doesn't just look at the goals he has scored. Needs to fit into systems. Needs to be able to change roles if needed. Over 15 million is a lot of money and the big boys need better players then Remy. Who else can afford more then 15m?

There's teams in France,Germany, Italy, etc who would be interested, not just in England.

He's a full international
Relatively young and despite some niggle injuries there's no serious health risks from history
Maybe an off field question mark after those allegations

We are talking about a market where Andy Carroll has been involved in two transfers totalling more than £39mill, Jordan Henderson £17mill and don't get me started on Torres!!!
So what we achieve for Remys transfer is up for grabs and the sky should be the limit, this assumes the buy out clause has gone.

He's already proved sharp sharks like Kia Jawbigchin can tie him up in knots and he just seems to either melt or be dazzled by the glitz and glamour of high profile football and the characters around it. If it's not Beard then it's someone else in the club but the buck stops at the top

For me Remy is a £20 mill player plus a 15% sell on clause
We should also be getting £10mill minimum for Adel with his 40% sell on clause being passed on

AC Milan wont pay over 7m for Adel no way. English players go for more. Jordan Henderson was a decent prospect and is proving to a very decent player. I don't think Remy will get much better. He is never going to score more then 25 premier league goals.

When I look at the sums of money paid for some PL strikers (Andy Carroll for one, nearly 50 mil in two xfers)) then I also believe Remy is a snip at a minimum of 20 mil.
Remy has age and talent on his side too. I pray he has a sucessful World Cup competition.
When he is sold this summer I just really hope we spend the money wisely on the right players for whatever league we are in and not on crocks and/or loanees!
A few more youngsters in the Charlie Austin mould will do for me.

So true... Its the same people who straight away insult if you disagree with them.. I've lost count of how many insults ive had directed at me on many threads.
Im torn between giving it back (which I mostly do) or just leaving the dullards to get their kicks out of it.

Thank you for invariably invaluable analysis and avdice! I certainly will be going on holiday soon. What about yourself, have you thought about it? Being Clive's "right-hand man" you need well-deserved rest every now and then, too.
