    FOLLOWING today's exciting announcement that Nike will be our new technical partner from the start of next season, the club can confirm that the re-branding of the crest has been put on hold.

    QPR Chairman, Tony Fernandes, told www.qpr.co.uk: “We are fully committed to our plans for a new crest, but the announcement of our Nike partnership and the lead times it creates makes it sensible to put any changes on hold for the moment.

    “When the time is right, fan consultation will - as always - be key, as we look to design a crest that all our supporters can be proud of.”

                      getting rid of Lotto and (eventually ) getting rid of that silly badge with the even sillier crown on it ,happy days. ( just a shame were not having Adidas ,but we cant have it all i suppose )

                                          That last sentence is a lovely sentiment, but whatever they come up with will have some people up in arms and demanding it change, and refusing to buy any merchandise. That is a fact of life now sadly, everyone gets to have their say. If they do manage to come up with a new badge that everyone will tolerate, it will rank up there with that fella who did the man-fishing and turned water into wine (and I have my doubts about that tbf, I've seen Penn & Teller...)

                                          Save the money and keep the one that we have now that some people like, some people are meh about, and some hate.

                                          I'd rather not waste the money and keep the one at the moment
