The Dreaded Play Off's..

Does anybody know the away ticket allocation for the teams that should be in the Play offs Wigan - Forest - Derby - Reading etc etc etc..

Not quite sure how being flippant helps the debate. You obviously think he is a better manager than I do. Or than the results have shown.

Dont think anything of him other than hes rangers manager at the moment and has got us in a play off place, which im 100% certain we will still be in at season end, and for me that is good enough after the clear out of last season, and losing remy, and then gaining and losing charlie. Im not keen on him whatsoever, but unlike you, rebel, kirill, westlondon and bushlover etc, im not going to start screaming its his fault when i lose a sock in my washing machine. Some things are just down to sheer bad luck.

I never once said 'its the same thing for 'the top six', i said 'Top six is top six, all leads to the same thing' , meaning the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth all ensure a play off place'.

But aren't the first and second teams in the top six bereft of that "same thing" constituting a play off place? I do pity them

Yeah I bet Leicester fans are kicking themselves they are going to get promoted as Champions and are not in the play offs for "the best way to get promoted"

Anyone who would rather go up via the play offs than automatic or as Champions is a bit odd frankly.

think you may have interpreted this incorrectly...of course auto is ideal, takes the risk out of it, but IF you are in the play offs AND you win them and get promoted that way, that is better because it's like a cup final, all the razzamatazz that goes with it and some silver ware which going up runners up do not get. Not so odd now eh!

Would the playoffs be "dreaded" if we were approaching them from the opposite direction? I think not. Genuine question.

We have slipped from the top of the league and are on a poor run of form.......approaching from the opposite direction one would assume that the club in question has gone on a bit of a run and is showing form/confidence at exactly the right time of the season......

I would be delighted if we make the play-offs but barely scraping into them whilst in freefall does make them a little "dreaded"!

No way would I want Forest even in their current form. Having to play a club at a ground we have a shocking record at and have never won is suicide to me. Turns a two legged game into a oen legged game where we have to do the biz at home

For me I would want Derby or Brighton as I think we have the measure of both and can turn them both over away from home although our results away to them this season have been negative. Not impressed with Derby nor was I overly impressed with Brighton yesterday. Brighton also have the memory of going out in the play offs last season so that would play on their minds and adds extra pressure

Couldn't care less would rather finish 7th as this team wouldn't have the bottle to win the play offs nor are we good enough anyway. Our season ended when Austin was ruled out for the rest of the campaign.
