So for your benefit 'I would say that I wasted two or three years of my career staying at QPR' which to me means he blames/holds us responsible for his lack of development (he forgets to mention entirely he used to miss training, throw strops on the pitch, disrespect his colleagues by getting a bus home when they were still playing and lets be having it straight only really performed when the rest of the team done his dirty work!! perhaps that all had something to do with his lack of progression and or development)

I agree with you totally, was he having a go at the QPR fans, no he was not, but by having a intentional or unintentional dig at the club he indirectly alienates a proportion of the fans who are not hanging out the back of his a rse. If you prepared to forgive his every misdemeanour then the recent interviews will be water off a ducks back for those with an alternative view the interviews are an unnecessary slur
So you attack adel for saying something that, er, he didn't actually say? good job gary o'neil never puts his foot in it when he is interviewed by the international sports press after coming off from a Champions League game. Now that's the kind of player you can rely on...

I've not 'seen the light' as you tw*ttishly suggest. Understand the situation, am realistic to know he won't be coming back now, but still love Adel as a player. Not one player has entertained me like he has over the last few years, and I'll be damned if I'm going to forget that, because he said something that might be construed as a dig at the club.

Hating him with the obsession that you appear to is incomprehensible to me. Your hypocrisy is just a mildly amusing aside tbf.

I doubt the journos involved even thought they had much of a story. Super talented player who spent two years mostly on the bench in I WASTED SOME OF MY CAREER shocker.

But the mob need fuel for the daily hate...
      Two very good posts.

Only if they allow them to be.

Some would argue that he didn't perform consistently because of the revolving door and instability at the club, who could possibly excel in that environment? Maybe he is having a dig at the club in that sense.
      Agree. Especially the bold bit.

Credit where its due mate: O'Neil played well coming off the bench yesterday and had a hand in the winning goal.

I find it funny that people still care about a bloke they never met and who will have no direct influence on their lives. He's a good footballer and they move on. So should we. ( Edit: Head in hands! I'm sounding like TW)

It's good for both parties that he leaves. He wants to play for a bigger club than us and his attitudes with us suggests he doesn't want to play for us anymore. Hope he keeps playing well with Milan and we sell him at a good price and get a good money.

Maybe because he was a very talented player that QPR fans saw and those fans are still interested in how his career fans out? If you're not interested, you don't have to read the thread.

And you were calling others on here hypocrites only a week ago?

I can't understand your hatred for Adel. Even though he was voted 4th best player in Serie A for Feb (I concede the League is weak, but that doesn't change the fact he has got off to a very good start there), even though he was voted Milan's best player in their Champions League match, you choose to ignore all that and concentrate on 20 minutes in which he did nothing as a sub against Udinese?

I don't think even Leeds fans hate Cantona as much as you hate Adel. At least Leeds fans will give a fair assessment of Cantona the player no matter how much they hate him for going to Man Utd. You seem to have a personal vendetta against Taarabt. Strange.

Lets see how he plays in the Champions League tomorrow. That is the big test, the only trophy he has got is with QPR so far.

Milan keep losing....adel definitely wasted his time and ours when he ducked in the wall....when he has the clause "staying at QPR" this implies a dig to me....
Milan are sh1t...adel is not the complete player and nothing like the player he thinks he is.....west acton is right in all his points about adels implication that
qpr retarded his progress when he didn't train etc...and im sure our training methods didn't limit his ability to head a ball that was going straight at him in a wall

Should never have been in the wall in the first place.
