I wish Adel well. I think he is simply very immature and none of his silly comments are meant to be malicious.

Fantastic skill but consistency always eluded him for us, especially in the top division. I seriously doubt whether he will make it at Milan but I hope he does.

Don't watch Taarabt games but if the above is true seems he is not setting the world alight as his deluded fan club believe, not in the starting line up and comes on for 20 minutes and then does nothing, seems like the rots begun already?

        You wish mate!

Just checked up on that. Kaka, Balotelli and Essien were also benched, maybe their rot has begun too!...or they were being rested for their european game on tuesday...who knows.

Agree with dsqpr, just an immature person and doesn't mean to be malicious. Wish him well, and to be honest, even i'm sick of these threads now. Hope he fulfils his potential and moves on.

Glad he's got off to a good start and hope it continues, so we can cash in and get another high earner off our wage bill.
          Thanks for the memories though.

Every minute piece of negative about Taarabt gets pounced on and waved around by rickyranger triumphantly, like that casino story a few weeks back that appears to have had no substance.

He whines about the 'fan club' giving it some time before calling his performances at Milan any good, but is happy to call him a failure on one report of a 20 minute sub appearance.

He's obsessed bless him, and there's no point engaging with him, he's a lost cause on this subject.

I agree with your last paragraph wholeheartedly. It is now apparent that he won't be coming back, which is sad. I hope he sets the world on fire, he's great fun to watch. My fear is that he will continue to do it in flashes, and his immaturity and unhelpful advisors will hold him back from achieving what he could have. His waste of 3 years, could turn into a waste of a career... Fingers crossed for him.

There is no one who wants him to keep doing well than me, that way we get a bit of money and him off the wage bill, not to mention the end of the constant Taarabt threads.

Whilst you mention it you might want to rest the two 31 year olds in Essien and Kaka and maybe even Balotelli, whose been out with a shoulder injury, but a 20 something who doesn't like to train, work it out for yourself!

'Worship' You really are arguing against no-one aren't you?

I've not 'seen the light' as you tw*ttishly suggest. Understand the situation, am realistic to know he won't be coming back now, but still love Adel as a player. Not one player has entertained me like he has over the last few years, and I'll be damned if I'm going to forget that, because he said something that might be construed as a dig at the club.

Hating him with the obsession that you appear to is incomprehensible to me. Your hypocrisy is just a mildly amusing aside tbf.

lol, it's such an innocuous, perfectly-fair-enough quote. The people who have spent this thread going I HATE ADEL LET'S KILL THE UNGRATEFUL **** look completely ridiculous.

Funny how naive people on here are when they want to believe something. Loads of people on here seem to think these comments are some sort of calculated dig at QPR fans by Adel, rather than him just having a microphone shoved under his nose and giving a few off the cuff comments.

I doubt the journos involved even thought they had much of a story. Super talented player who spent two years mostly on the bench in I WASTED SOME OF MY CAREER shocker.

But the mob need fuel for the daily hate...

I fear your the one that looks ridiculous Geng highlighting the last part of the quote and ignoring entirely the first part which has put peoples noses out of joint but you have done What was anticipated because you want to defend him at all costs. I hope the lad does well at Milan but I guarantee it now if it goes t its up you will be here doing what you do defending him and blaming Milan and everyone else but Adel

So for your benefit 'I would say that I wasted two or three years of my career staying at QPR' which to me means he blames/holds us responsible for his lack of development (he forgets to mention entirely he used to miss training, throw strops on the pitch, disrespect his colleagues by getting a bus home when they were still playing and lets be having it straight only really performed when the rest of the team done his dirty work!! perhaps that all had something to do with his lack of progression and or development)

I agree with you totally, was he having a go at the QPR fans, no he was not, but by having a intentional or unintentional dig at the club he indirectly alienates a proportion of the fans who are not hanging out the back of his a rse. If you prepared to forgive his every misdemeanour then the recent interviews will be water off a ducks back for those with an alternative view the interviews are an unnecessary slur

I made it bold mate aha. To be honest, the reason he wasted 2/3 years at rangers was down to him, he didn't impress on a regular basis. He should have mentioned that. Some would argue that he didn't perform consistently because of the revolving door and unstability at the club, who could possibly excel in that environment? Maybe he is having a dig at the club in that sense.

No prob with your view Nick as you see it both sides. For the record I don't think Adel has deliberately thought I'm saying this to mug off fans but by having a subtle dig, if that was the intention, it's a back handed slap.
