Green signed a 2 year deal worth £3.2million before bonuses. Feel free to do the maths yourself, but for me that wasn't a bad deal.

Some people seem to be forgetting what Tony himself has said. He said there will be an answer once the press has had their say.
At the moment we're just looking at a set of numbers. Let's wait for the board's reply before stringing them up.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

according to the accounts we paid £41.069m on players and (if my maths is good) received £1.580m transfer fees during 2012-13.Originally posted by Dazzer1977 View PostIncase you aren't aware:
Cardiff signings
Gary Medal £11.5million
Andreas Cornelius £8.5million
Steven Caulker £9million
Magnus Wolff Eikrem £2.2million
Kévin Théophile-Catherine £2.2million
Peter Odemwingie £2.5million
John Brayford £1.5million
Cala £1million
Total = £38.4million
Our signings
Hoilett £3.3million
Park £1million
Granero £5.4million
Diakite £3.5million
Samba £12million
Remy £8million
M'Bia £3.2million
Total = £36.4million
Most believe we paid mega money for players. Not true. Unless I've missed some players off our list from last season? I know which bunch of players I'd prefer to be trying to sell!

Cos you asked nicely, ok then.Originally posted by NortholtRanger View PostDazzer mate, stop.playing ITK. How would you know the exact details of Greens contract?
Serious question. Do you know me personally? Given I'm sure you don't, I'm just wondering how you can pass a judgement about me with regards to who or what I know?Last edited by Dazzer1977; 07-03-2014, 07:12 PM.

Your attempts at trying to appear ITK always come across as a bit desperate if im honest. No offence but not a patch on some of the previous posters that seemed to have genuine info.Originally posted by Dazzer1977 View PostCos you asked nicely, ok then.

yeah I was rushing and doubled Bosingwa's alleged wage for some reason. 65k pw = £3.5m/year, 10.5m over three years.
The point still stands though - the players listed almost all came to QPR because we offered them more money than anywhere else did. If you're seriously trying to suggest we aren't paying huge salaries then I refer you to the fact our wage bill is higher than Borussia Dortmund or Everton's.
Or you can do some maths. £68m wage bill divided by 30 = 2.2m per player = 44k per week.
Obviously we don't have 30 players earning the exact same amount. So some will be on considerably more than that.
