Have a proper read of my first post, question is what does Downs bring? Not saying he is anything other than a defensive coach, but if your defense is pretty sound (which us was at the time) and you can't score (which we haven't done to any extent all season) why not bring in an attack minded coach.

Dear oh dear bunny you do need me to go slowly don't you. Well I try again, McClaren was a coach at QPR, when he left, and only when he left, did they bring in another coach, that being Wally Downs. Most would immediately understand that would seem to suggest Downs was a replacement for the departed McClaren, if you don't, fair enough but hey each to their own!
