Think we need to bring in someone who can deliver a few sessions on opening up the opposition. We are so easy to play against, very much in straight lines with no obvious plan to create space. Redknapp is not a great coach so why bring in someone like Downs to replace mcClaren, just don't know what Wally brings and surely needs to go and get a forward thinking attacking coach to try something different.

What are you talking about he's a defensive coach.
Can't blame him for performances or lack of goals / results.
Doesn't help having two centre halves with a combined age of 98

Bond & Jordan take the sessions. Blame them.
Downes has nothing to do with the set up, formations or tactics. He's there to coach defensively. Nothing more nothing less. Another scapegoat it seems.

Worrying Lymes if we actually have a forward in the ranks coaching forward play given how dismal we are. Attacking play moves on perhaps Harry needs to look in future at some younger coaches who are just out the game and currentComment

Have a proper read of my first post, question is what does Downs bring? Not saying he is anything other than a defensive coach, but if your defense is pretty sound (which us was at the time) and you can't score (which we haven't done to any extent all season) why not bring in an attack minded coach.
Get it now ?
