I've always backed HR with everything he's done since he's been here, but the 1 thing ive always questioned is letting Remy go, ok he didn't want to play in the Championship but tuff we pay your wages, you'll play!!... would he have kicked up a fuss? Good players sign contracts that cover their backs, and i can assure you that the biggest thing in remys contract in big massive letters was that he would leave if and when we went down. Nothing to do with the jowl faced pensioner buffoon. Absolutely nothing.

No we wouldnt have any say. Thats what contracts are for. If we had the final say he wouldnt of signed for us.

Yeah I agree with your valuation on Remy. And definitely agree it is a massive shame he couldn't be here this season (not Adel though, but that conversation' s for a different thread). And it would have been interesting to see how the table would be looking had he been here.

1 thing though... if Remy's our player, we obviously didn't need to loan him out. But we did because he didn't want to play in the Championship? I honestly don't think he would've kicked up a fuss and by that I mean, I don't think he would of dropped his head, caused trouble, sulked. I think he would of just got on with the job.

Remy would have been offski had the court case/charges not been hanging over his head. It seems that we allowed him to go on loan during this period (as we couldn't sell him) and maybe there was some thought that if we got promoted he'd be back next season for us as a result of it.

Remy was thinking of the World Cup this year so was never going to play in the Championship with us....

Would we be able to play Remy IF we had to go through the playoffs? Prem season finishes 11 May I believe and the Play offs are between 8-17th May with the final being on the 24th - I think. Is there any rule to say we couldn't have him in the team?

On the qpr facebook page it says the laon deal expires on may the 14th. So yep, if he would consider lowering himself he could deffo play for us in the play offs. Very much doubt he would though, cos of the world cup. He would either be on holiday or with the french squad

Thanks for the answer, I had wondered for a whole, your probably right there though, forgot about the World Cup! Depending when the games were we might only have him for one anyway! Oh well, wait and see I guess

World Cup starts 12th June I think.
Normally the squad gets together for 2 weeks before so could easily play in the final.
It wouldn't be up to Remy to choose if he wanted to play for us or not.
