    Remy

Remy is without doubt one of the best strikers in the Premier League and is now 'hot property' according to Alan Pardew.
I've noticed no one seems to be talking about the £8 million buy-out clause he apparently had with us anymore so I'm just wondering if anyone knows if he actually has one. If not, how much do you think we could let him go for. Surely over £15 million!!
Bearing in mind the club's financial state, I'm delighted to see both Remy and Taarabt doing well because it surely means their price tags will go up. I hope Cesar has a superb World Cup too for the same reason

Definitely no buy out clause, otherwise why would Pardew come out with what he did.

Realistically we should be looking at 15-20m, especially when you look at how much Spurs wasted on Soldado,

I think Milan have an option to buy Adel for 7m euros in the summer though.

If he continues as he is started then that will be a no brainer for them, absolute bargain.

If Remy scores 15 -18 goals this season and has a good World Cup, I'd be seeking £20+.

What a crying shame he and Taarabt could not be persuaded to stay on and play for QPR in the Championship...QPR could now be sitting on top at least 15 points clear of 3rd place!

Yeah I agree with your valuation on Remy. And definitely agree it is a massive shame he couldn't be here this season (not Adel though, but that conversation' s for a different thread). And it would have been interesting to see how the table would be looking had he been here.

1 thing though... if Remy's our player, we obviously didn't need to loan him out. But we did because he didn't want to play in the Championship? I honestly don't think he would've kicked up a fuss and by that I mean, I don't think he would of dropped his head, caused trouble, sulked. I think he would of just got on with the job.

Am I the only one who thinks this or am I missing something??

You could be right, but at the time, Harry was reshaping the squad, and he wanted it to be built on the solid foundation of players with the right attitude. Anyone who didn't fit that template was shown the door, Remy obviously included. And for the first third of the season, it appeared to be working, with a disciplined team grinding out results. But as many observed, Harry appeared to have no plan B, and his over-reliance on certain players didn't bode well, along with shutting out the youngsters. With 3 crucial injuries in a row, the wheels have come off Harry's bandwagon, and no matter how many spares he's bought in, he can't seem to get it rolling again.

                            No, you are not alone.

But many trust Harry's experience in such situations.
