Because the fans on a whole weren't spoilt whingeing little *****es, we were **** but we were proud of it and we had players like Rowly, Ainsworth, Cooky, Dexter, Bircham who would play there ******** off week in week out. Worst thing in a sense that could ever happen to our beautiful little club was getting rich owners IMO. Don't get me wrong, I love tony and co but I also appreciate him, most of our "supporters" don't and demand signing after signing and constant attack attack footballOriginally posted by iamayaak View PostWhen we were in Div 2 the atmosphere was better though, recently over the past 2/3 years us fans have let it slip.. That's just the truth!

100% makes me cringe some of the things I see/hear at football. One of the worst has to be a bloke with his bird and she says oh who's that player, his reply was Granero and on my life it was Mbia warming up in front of usOriginally posted by Brian Wilson View PostVery true. we definitely picked up a certain "type" of supporter from our 2 years in the premier league

You want a really crap atmosphere? Get a new stadium and hey presto....
LR is a piece of **** for visiting supporters and teams these days, not the intimidating bear pit that it used to be, god only knows how crap it would be in some half full design by numbers new stadium.
The best thing that could happen to football UK is for standing to be restored in the top divisions, the Germans manage it with big crowds and pissed up fans. Sensible barrier design, no worries.

You are advocating the use of a mobile phone app to orchestrate singing at a football match.Originally posted by fisnik View PostIt was a tongue in cheek post to be honest. But how does it prove anything?"The kids missed everything from Queens Park Rangers to Conkers".
London Pride has been handed down to us.
London Pride is a flower that's free.
London Pride means our own dear town to us,
And our pride it for ever will be.

I think you have a point here. Not so long ago we were sh!t but had players who cared so it didn't matter that we were sh!t, it was our sh!t and we were proud of it! I think in general us fans just enjoyed it rather than having expectations of winning every week and being disappointed.Originally posted by qblockoompah View PostBecause the fans on a whole weren't spoilt whingeing little *****es, we were **** but we were proud of it and we had players like Rowly, Ainsworth, Cooky, Dexter, Bircham who would play there ******** off week in week out.
