It really does, Shania. He picks and chooses his games, some games he will give 100% and others he'll barely give 10%. Hopefully 'Arry had a right go at him today so he won't be slacking next time.

Assou-Ekotto rarely has a bad game for us. He's actually been superb for us this season. Clint Hill makes more mistakes but most R's fans let him off the hook

Really? This was his first bad game for us and really only a half as he was fine. Would love to know which games you though he only gave 10%

Don't think he was terrible but yea below average for him. Definitely not lazy. Sure he should have kicked the ball for a throw in but how often do we see players wait for the ball to go off. Could happen to anyone. I was more angry for the second mistake where he nearly let a chipped goal...

Probably getting told to sit back a bit I would say. There's Traore or Kranjcar usually on the left in front of him, so he's got to be a bit more conservative I think.

He's the best left back in the league, in most games he's really good, for most of the game anyway. Watch him closely though, at times he gets complacent (like today) or tries meggin' the defender in his own half, a lot of the time he gets let off, but today he didn't and he got punished. Very classy defender but he he does have these moments of madness. Ask any Spurs fan, they'd probably say the same thing.
