Can't believe some of you would have Doyle over mackie. Doyles been involved in 29 games for wolves this year and scored three goals in a **** league with the best squad. Why is he all of the sudden going to be our saviour.
Fact is he will work hard and fair play that's the least you expect but we need a goal scorer people - Austin scored all our goals and if you think Doyle is the answer then your in La la land.

Yeah, because some of us said we'd rather have him than Mackie when the point was raised, that clearly translates to we all think he's our saviour and a replacement for Austin....???? hmmm.

He's a decent, reliable player with a good brain. His game's never been all about goals. You dont play nearly 60 times for Ireland if you're useless. Besides, if you put him in a decent team and create chances, he'll take a decent percentage.

Anyway the debate shouldnt be is he as good as Austin, but is he better than Zamora.... YES

maybe not as prolific as Austin in front of goal but there aren't that many out there, better footballer than Austin though all round player and a good link player
