My fear... we do get promoted. Then a (needed) rebuild starts for prem survival... again.

    Ground Hog day??
Where can one find Bush Babes?

Sky Sources telling us that QPR have signed both Kevin Doyle and Aaron Hughes on loans for the remainder of the season. More to follow...

Yeh this. Much rather Doyle as back-up than BZ.

Hughes from Flumps? That's a bit random and we're not exactly light at Centre Half are we?
Thought he was playing every week for Fulham?

Doyle is no where near good enough for a promotion chasing side these days, BUT is a better option then Zamora.

Agree, decent player 5 years ago but not the answer, I really hope this is back up with the brazilian bloke and we have 1 proven striker on his way
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Just got to hope these two signings are there for depth and to be used just when really necessarily like Henry. I honestly don't think these have been brought in as fist team starters.

Maidstone just looked at wolves last 3 games and Doyle has been sitting on the bench. Can't get into a league 1 side so am I missing something. Did harry get an old wolves dvd for xmas?

Onouha to Stoke - Crouch to LR.

I don't think he's played much for them at all. Would be signing him on merit from previous seasons which at his age is to.risky and not what we need to replace Austin.

Doyle's absence from the side and squad is political, not football based. Basically, Roger Johnson, Jamie O'Hara, Wayne Hennessey, Kevin Doyle and to a lesser degree, Ebanks-Blake were frozen out by Jackett from Day 1. Steve Morgan laid down the law - they couldn't afford those players in League 1 following stadium development plans falling around his ears so wanted them out. Players refused to take a hit on their salaries and all decided to stay put until reasonable offers came in. IIRC, Wolves are subbing Johnson's wages at West Ham.

Hughes is versatile, can play RB, LB and CB so he looks like cover
