His best days are behind him
Would be useful as partner to Austin but that's not what we need now is it?

Solid signing given the circumstances would not be against this at all. Would have been a good partner for Austin in my book

For sure, we could do a lot worse than Doyle imo. Also a player that a move to QPR would at least be upwards..

Just been on Irish radio that he's sealed a loan deal with us....

I dont think it would be the end of the world and I'd more more happy with a loan than a permenant signing. Hopefully we can still bring in someone else though. Still so gutted about Charlie.

Mick Wallace (now an Irish Politician after a long football association with Doyle) just tweeted that Doyle will be a QPR player this evening

useful addition - great player to bring on late in a game to batter defenders but not sure he is the man to fire 10 plus goals to get us promoted.

As a stand by player I think he's ok given the circumstances.

He's an ok signing. Not really a goalscorer and hasn't stopped wolves falling thru the divisions but a recent target man and good option for one up front I suppose.
