Its certainly true to say Puncheon never got a look in under Neil.

He does actually discuss the whole Puncheon transfer saga in his book.

The move cost Puncheon £200,000 which he personally paid. You'd be pretty fooked off if you did that and never got a look in. When he did come on for his two sub appearances he hardly gave me any long lasting memories. I'll remember Warnock in years to come, but until this all came out I forgot Puncheon actually played for us.

Back handers have gone on in the game for years. Some managers get cuts from players transfer deals, so is that any different in the grand scheme of things? I know of deals that have taken place, where players have left QPR and managers at the time have made money from the deals. Just curious to know what business really do supporters with this matter? Under Warnock we was winning games and got promotion to the promise land, so if it was going on, then really was a bad thing? Team spirit under Warnock was great and there weren't many examples of where you'd question his team selection, I certainly can't think of many examples of where you can look at his selection and feel baffled? Or think I wonder why he picked this fella over that fella. Sounds more like sour grapes to me.

Really can't understand why this has become an issue to fans. Warnock was a manager who got the best out of the players we had at the time, delivered the goods and gave us our most successful season in 15 odds years so who cares. Think someone is a little pi$$ed at the fact they spent £200k and wasted half a season with little game time.

Anyways. So what if he did anything like that. I'd imagine they're all at it........ and when you look at the money that the axis of Hughes, Joorbican and Rigg fleeced (and are still fleecing off of us....... or to be totally correct - our owners)..... then Warnock's alleged profiteering looks like the equivalent of nicking 50p from the top of the leccy box.
