The team we have built will do well in the prem because it is being built for the prem, not the champ, if we get out of the championship this season, anyone who comes with us won't do well because they build teams to succeed in the championship. Ours can pass and play the ball a bit and that will put us in good stead for next season
Not sure posting on a message board or not shows support for the team?? I think the teams has done well but performances have been pretty dull. I just don't like Harry. Haven't done since he started and moaned all the time....he still does.

I disagree that we're building for the prem too. We're just picking players to get us up this time. We're actually pretty short term focussed with many of the signings.

I don't think people hate harry they are just bemused by his tactics yesterday at least we got our midfield ahead of Austin for a change in the second half, hope it carry's on like that won't get any complaints from me.

This year he has put together a excellent team that is solid but lacking a few goals. But we are 3rd and well in contention for.automatic promotion. Yesterday's result could be the platform to really push on now.

I understand some of you get frustrated over some of his tactics but there's also alot of moaning thats unjustified and reflects.of a spoilt child syndrome. Harry deserves credit for the job he's doing and its a joke some of you don't appreciate it.
Exactly this....that is the crux of all this negative/positive debate.

[QUOTE]WeAreQPR12;1197708]Oh dear. How dare we question harry. This is a football forum for debate. Nothing wrong with doubting the man. With our team and backing of tony if he doesn't finish top 2 then its criminal. Go back to reading your sun newspaper. Anyone that pays to see us has a right to have an opinion./QUOTE]

I know many, including myself were questioning the lineup when it came out yesterday, no wingers, Phillips on the bench but perhaps Harry had a good look at the pitch, the wing areas looked torn up! I'm not sure if that was his thinking but wing play could have been difficult in those conditions and when Matty came on albeit to kill the game in a mop up roll he did seem to struggle with possesion! Our shape looked very good, especially in the 2nd half and some of that has to be on the manager!

Introducing this passing play and buying players to fit the style. Playing onuoha and traore to build their confidence, bringing in Ekotto, simpson and phillips and Niko who have all done well in the prem. Buying a young striker in Austin who fits champ and prem play. You always need some tough heads to get you through this point but he has done well to mould the team to play a particular brand of football that is known to have success in the prem and is a bit of a risk in the champ.

Personally, haven't come across any QPR fans that actually hate Harry, but I have come across many that are a tad fed-up with the slow, ponderous, easy-to-counter, approach we have to attacking the opposition.
Would be very surprised if there had been little or no gripes, to be honest.

Exactly. We all love the club and are bound to get a bit wound up at times.

Football, and particularly supporting a football team, is all about passion, mate.
Without the passion shown by fans, football would have died long ago.

                          This.

If the goalmouth scramble in the first half went in, or Taylor had finished the move when they broke from our third very poor corner in succession, then it could have been a very different story.

The point is, regardless of formation or the number of strikers, for once we moved forward with some attacking intent and didn't leave Austin all alone up front whilst the midfielders sat and watched.

Won't get too many complaints from me if we go out and try to win games and the players do their jobs properly. Don't care if we lose a few, just nice to see some proper football. And it worked, against a team who were on a good run and many thought were a good side. That second half simply showed how good we can be with our squad, which in my view is the reason behind all the frustration.

Another point that was probably questioned by many, how many of you would have wanted Henry on when Barton went out injured? I'm sure many wanted anyone but him to come on and probably a bunch wanted 442 then! Henry did a fine job filling in, Harry had no hesitation as to who he wanted to replace JB, I thought we looked the better side from that point on and to me JB has been a key player for us so far!

Hilarious. People who profess to be positive come what may moaning about people moaning. Win or lose, individuals react on a personal basis and have every right to express their emotional response to an emotional connection.
