Taking the gamble on kids - interesting one isn't it. As said above, it's the kind of thing to do when you have nothing to lose. If you take the risk when you are in our position and it back fires then who's the mug? That gamble against the possibility of it working out is odds against really.
Look at dear old wet spam - their kids are top of the league and apparently taking the league by storm - fat sam has a bit of a dilemma with a cup semi and league position to deal with so throws the kids to the lions in the FA Cup. A 5 nil battering at florist ensues ........what's it done for the kids?

We are going up - so the kids do not stand a change to be in the team - who would put them in the team in the PL

Think most would want to see Hitchcock play instead of Zamora!! But atm what's the point in risking the untried youngsters when we got a solid side sitting 3rd in the table!! Unless one is of a.exceptional standard you can't ignore why break up a the current starting 11!!!
I can't think of one youngster to.dislodge one of our starters atm? Especially with the.formation we set up with!!
