I think it's the coaching that's our problem.

got to hope we can one day match or better beat these teams. Isn't this why we support a team?

Initially if we do go up we need to compete with 6-8 teams!! That's not unrealistic with our backing a previous experience on our side this time.from.mistakes made!!
I'm sure we will get hammered a few times!! But premier league Is where it's at and where we all want to be!!

Which is exactly what Tony is trying to introduce here, but you do nothing but run his efforts down and poo poo all his plans.
Btw if the youth academy is that good at saints then why spend all that money. Must be pretty clueless bunch down there

Parachute payments only last for so long.

We need to go up, this season or next. We are royally screwed if we don't do it as soon as possible.

it's catch 22 win lots of games in championship .means promotion .then hopefully don't lose too many

so we sell the very potential existance of our club to the 'devil' that is the premier league!

Even with Yakubu leading the front line?

think you'd need to go lower than the championship to have your "soul" back. League 2 i reckon

I have never diminished TF's efforts/intentions - he has long-term vision and can, hopefully deliver success (relative to that of Gregory). Southampton have followed the nuanced approach of skilful youth and targeted external signings in an intelligent approach to long-term success.
