My thoughts n all Ginge. Don't get me wrong he could be blinding, but he hasn't proven anything yet and I really wouldn't want to be pinning our hopes of promotion on him. Much sooner splash a bit more cash and get Jordan Rhodes, he's only 23 and scores for fun at this level.You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.Comment

Trouble with Rhodes is Blackburn will probably be looking for upwards of 10m to sell.

True - didn't they buy him for £8m? If so they must want easily £10m as he has been a huge success for them.
It's a tough one, because looking at bottom like transfers fees it is a lot of money, but weighing it up against the cost of missing out on promotion, £10m or so is small fry and seems a very wise investment. Of course, simply buying him won't guarantee promotion, but surely it will help massively?
In fairness, I don't actually think TF will be looking to spend big this transfer window, I think he will be looking to spend £3m or so on a striker to aid Austin - spose only time will tell.You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.Comment

I gotta admit Matty, other than him being a prolific goal scorer i don't actually know too much about his style of play but have seen him compared to Austin.

Think its very very safe to say that the likes of ince and rhodes will not be coming to qpr this window.

Im going to say that we will get either carlton cole or jelavic and maybe with a bit of luck one more young player on loan from a premiership club and that is it. One in for certain, and with a bit of luck two, but with no fees changing hands.Comment
