But we need to build as a club, get in the premiership, attract big names. And to do this we need to start from the beginning and IMO that is by building a new ground.

I'm not scared mate i just don't understand why QPR always have to set expectations so high, its almost like the board are buying themselves time all the time.

HS2 has not been given the go ahead, Crossrail 2 has not been officially proposed. The Crossrail project is already way over budget and its not on the agenda to have a station built as part of Crossrail 1 at Old Oak. Old Oak has a depot for Crossrail, its where all the PCC segments for the tunnels are stored.

It's all if's and but's, there is nothing concrete in place fans are buying into a fantasy in my opinion. Does it not strike you as being a little bit ill thought out to propose a 40k stadium to all of sundry on Thursday and start back peddling on capacity 3 days later.

I only said gamble because that's what most people think this is. IMO I cant see a business man like TF taking a gamble this big, its not something he just thought up over night.
I do agree it is all ifs and buts at this very early stage, but that wont stop me from getting excited by the prospect of having a ground and future like this.

Isn't staying at LR more of a gamble? We didn't buy the land behind the School End when we had the chance. Never bought the Unigate site, White City.

In a few years when the Old Oak area is taking shape we would curse ourselves for missing out.

I was born and brought up in East Acton, have been a fan since 1967 and can't wait for it. So many Loftus Road memories but it's time to move on.
