Not a chance. We're mugs, but we're surely not that big of a mug....

£15m + Cisse might sweeten it a bit,but I'd sooner keep Remy if poss.

        NO NO NO!!!!

Iv said it before, I really dont think we need a striker (especially Cisse). Not this season anyway. We just need to use our ones ie 4-4-2.
Austin, AJ, chevanton, zamora and hitchcock all very good championship players.

Dont panic with Remy. Loan him out for the rest of the season and then if we go up call him back to the team, and if we dont then sell him.
        SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

We could have four strikers on the bench whilst going for the draw.

And each of them are just as likely on the bench to be fed the ball as Austin..... But, hopefully, recent games, especially Reading, might prove that wrong.....

regardless of what we want.. i think remy doesnt want to live up there and is only planning a 1 year stay. expect london is preferred choice.

I would not be surprised if Wenger had a go at signing him, he would fit in at the Gooners.

The way I'm reading this it sounds as if the £8m clause no longer exits

I'd take this & a bit of money you know, we all know what Cisse has done In the past & is caple of, Remy seems pretty settled & it'll be hard for QPR to keep him even if it's not to Newcastle then to a big club. Remy's a top class talent
                      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

flog him, wipe out our £80m in a stroke

They must be joking - Remy is good enough for any top 6 team. £20m starting price if we are going to let him go anywhere.

I think the problem Newcastle are going to have is going to be convincing the player to stay . Nothing to do with the transfer fee . Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if remy came back to rangers in the summer if we go up or end up at another London club
