Seven out of the top twelve teams now played

Or seven from eleven as we don't play ourselves.
We are clearly still in a very good position. Some of the teams we played and beat earlier in the season are starting to climb the table now.

Dont you come on here spouting your common sense backed up with facts Captain, it wont go down well with the ' we're only where we are because we havent played anybody any good yet' brigade!! ;-)
2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!

2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....

2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....

    2015/2016, average at best.....

    2016/2017, same old, same old....

    2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!

Its the hope that kills you!

It does back up the theory that a lot of those teams were bottom half due partly to the fact we had beaten them doesn't it Kevster!

I love the positive vibe buy we have 8 games before we've played everyone...4 from the top half and 4 from the bottom half....the 4 from the top half are all in the top 7 so its still a bit weighted against us.

I am looking forward to playing Watford, Leicester and forest. We will have a better idea after that.

Get where you are coming from but surely in this league it's just as unpredictable whether you are playing Wednesday (see their result against Reading), Bournemouth (at Burnley) or any of the "bigger fish" you mention.
In this league it has to be the cliched one game at a time routine in my book

Yeah but we are the only team that are not getting beat by anyone in this anyone can beat anyne theory. The only team to beat us is the leaders. So the one game at a time cliche doesnt apply to us, we are too good.

I agree with that Blue but there was a lot of posts a few weeks back saying we had only played bottom half teams. I'm just updating the scenario really.

to be fair, not many people are beating burnley - only brighton have managed that and that was way back in august.

Burnley appear to be the opposite of us. Theyre difficult to beat because they score plenty with their strikers currently on good form, we're difficult to beat because we dont concede many too many.
Imagine if we had two strikers in form, at the same time......
I think we'll eventually overhaul them just because their squad is (or appears to be) a bit thinner than ours.

Indeed. One or two injuries and/or suspensions and they will start to suffer. If we look at the injuries we have had to key players like Neddy, Nico, Phillips, Hoilett, Johnson and the inevitable Barton suspension, there is not another team in this league that would have coped with them, let alone other injuries to squad players like BZ, JJ and co,

I would like to go on record as saying/predicting that we will be ten points clear of the play offs by boxing day. Give or take a point.
