Well we would have to pay wages out for a start, so we would be putting money towards a player that doesn't seem to offer anything more than what we have in the first team, as I've already said, and given his previous times at this level it would seem that we have a player of similar age and position that could do the job just fine. So I'd disagree on that point for a start.
And I'm not having that Samba not being fit exempts Harry for being criticised for that. There was always a question of the fitness levels playing in that league, and the standard of opposition, and the fitness level was only brought up by Harry once Samba had been goddawful for several games and the crowd were getting both on the player and managers back. I don't think Jenas did much for us at all in the spring and Haim was throwing money at an old mate who was clearly past it. Townsend was inspired and I have no issue with giving Harry massive kudo's for that, or for Remy either. I'm not just going to sit back at every rumour and go "Harry knows what he's doing though". Every manager has bad signings, including Fergie back in the day, so I'm not sure what your issue is with me actually questioning this one?
As I'll repeat for the umpteenth time, I have no issue with getting someone in who improves the first 11. Getting someone in who has not done anything in this division, on loan, taking the place of someone who has given every indication he could do just a good a job, is a bit daft and saying "it's another player to pick" or "well the manager think's there is a need" as a justification just isn't something I'd agree with at all.
Let's take this to the extreme as I can't keep repeating myself. Say the papers report he wants to sign Gomes on loan as a keeper. He offers little, is no better than Green, would you just get behind it because Harry says he's needed? Or David Bentley? Genuinely interested, as I wonder at what point you would question it?Comment

Just had enough of lending spurs players now, defoe or nobody now for me, and that can even wait till next season. We will start getting compared to watford of last season soon. Dont need anymore ####s, and would be nice to see our manager take a step back from his old home.Comment

Jenas has and still is doing a job for us so really you're moaning about one signing of 'Arrys, i thought Ben Haim did ok in a team spiralling towards relegation.
So my opinion is daft while yours is gospel?...So it's not good to have a big squad and more players to pick from?...duh

I literally have no idea where to start with that response. You've clearly taken this all rather personally, have got a bit emotional, and have even decided what my opinion was on a player that signed for us over a year ago and left us over six months ago, despite having know way of knowing what I thought unless you are a stalker and heard me talking about Nelson at the ground last year. Which I hope/assume you are not.
You keep saying Harry knows best, I'll keep questioning it if I think the signing is pointless, and I'll take my leave from this thread to save you getting more worked up.Comment

at the end of the day, we are all entitled to our opinion and that's what these forums are for.
There's no right and wrong, some fans love Jamie Mackie, other think he's very average, others think he's pony.
If Harry wants to bring in more numbers to the squad, so what. It's a long season, we will get injuries and bans and it may be the extra players are needed, who knows?
Bottom line is that we're joint top of the league, a game in hand, 8 clean sheets in a row, so things are going in the right direction and we've got ourselves in a great position to push on and get up where we belong.
No value in people get wound up and stressed on these forums
