If we were to get promoted this season

Who do you think will be good enough to remain?

We all know wholesale changes absolutely do not work due to our last nightmare & look at Sunderland this season. I personally think a lot of the players Redknapp has brought in have been with one eye on the Premier League with regards to who could step up.

    For me those who could play at the top level for ability & age wise would be;

    Green

    Austin

    Dunne

    Simpson

    Akkoto

    Barton

    O Neill

    Jury's out for me with regards to;

    Hoilett

    Hill

    Jenas

    SWP

    Traore

    Carroll

    Phillips

    Onouha

    Faurlin

We want to avoid more mass changes I'd imagine.

    Opinions?

It's not all about ability as we well know. This squad would compete and survive in the premier league in my opinion. It would just be about adding quality to the squad in key areas such as defence and strikers to improve the squad. I think we're a million miles better this season than last, it's amazing how important team spirit really is.

      I reckon
      Hoilett
      Jenas
      SWP
      Traore...(mf role)
      Phillips
Onohua....should all be retained, my main worry sadly is Clint, and I think Faurlin, Carroll may be not too
+ Henry i might keep too

this side would get relegated. i'd have faith in barton, onuoha, hoillet, austin, assou-ekotto, simpson, green, cesar, faurlin, kranjckar, jenas... obviously some would be there to fill out the squad. if diakite gets his act together i've got faith in his ability to make it but i dunno how likely that is

dunne & hill wouldn't stand a chance as a CB pairing in the prem. IMO a lot depends on us investing well if/when we go up

Swap Dunne, Barton and O'Neil for Carroll, Phillips and Onuoha.

            Would need Remy back.

Austin may be okay in the prem but many promising strikers have failed to make the step up.Would like to see a proven striker come in.

            Barton yes,been there,done it.

            Green,Simpson,Akotto yes.

Keep Dunne but need another good CB or two.

Not too sure most of the others are good enough.

Just do what everyone else has done when they go up.......buy some quality and integrate into what you have already.

this side would scrape survival in the prem. not that i think that its a bad thing. itd still be progress that we can build on from this season
i supported qpr in the glory days when chris kiwomya and michael ngonge played up front

we also dont want to get promoted and try and finish high up in the prem next season. we need to keep these players and expect a season where were fighting relegation. its all gradual process none of us want an overhaul of personnel

Prob should get promoted or get a bit closer to the end of the season before we start talking about who we would keep in the prem!!

Long way to go yet, fantastic start and the boys have done us all proud but this is one tough league to get out off!!!

I think the following are important players should we go back up:

Green, Cesar, Onouha, Dunne, Simpson, Barton, Hoilett, Austin, Remy & AJ. BAE and Kranjcar if added as perms would also be great. Jury is out on Matty Phillips & Chevanton for me.

O'Neill, Hill, Traore & Henry might have something in them as bit part players.

The following won't be good enough: SWP, Faurlin (I'm a big fan at this level but not prem), Carroll, Jenas, Zamora, Yun, Park, Mbia, Taarabt, Diakite.
