You can argue with the way the TV licence is funded and enforced, fair enough, but the BBC is excellent and £145 annually is not exorbitant IMO

The BBC news and programming doesnt represent or reflect public views ...far to liberal and well known for its liberal bias all round the world. If there was a way of excluding it and its rip off licence fee from my SKY package i would do so in an instant. If you want to watch unbiased news, views and programming then look elsewhere. The BBC represents the nanny state.

and there's the rub, comedies you mention , made 20 odd years ago, wall to wall live sport, now down to snooker and bowls, BBC were great years ago, now they're pathetic.

They did a great job with the Olympics in fairness. They just have different priorities now. Unfortunately (in my view).

Near on every other channel out of the hundreds has a plus one channel, except the good old beeb channels that they want one and a half for every year. I dont pay it anymore, just binned all the reminders for the last two years, aint had that Volkswagen camper with the silly aerial dish type thing round yet.
