That's was a good move. Several times though we did play far too many triangles in the middle (even in our own half). Some of these inevitably broke down, so why not play the odd forward ball and risk losing possession but possibly creating a chance?? A tad too clever, clever at times.

Tend to agree we do overplay on the edge of the box sometimes and I have my heart in my mouthThat's was a good move. When we do it in front of our box we're so good- as are Hill and Dunne- I'm not worried that we'll concede, but that we're shilly shalleying about when we ought be getting forward and looking for a goal....

I think the great thing emerging is that teams cannot play their conventional game against us...... above and beyond a normal tactical adjustment. They go into the game thinking that they're gonna get smashed and then end up playing all over the place.

Funny you mention Man U. My brother actually counts them as his first team (even though he has seen us a billion times more and has been a season ticket holder here over many years). With the Rs he knows we will end up losing a lot of games. And although that really upsets him - because secretly I think he loves us much more
... - when Man Utd lose its like he just can't understand it. Its like when your internet connection fails, he just thinks "that's weird, oh well, it will fix itself shortly." Well lately he has seen Man U behave more like a normal football teams losing matches, and the good old superhoops winning every week like a well-oiled machine. I'm not crowing - honest
