Why QPR fans must remain patient with Phillips

Sadly this sums up a lot of our fans and probably something to do with the fact we've only ever had a hardcore support of about 12k.

Because like all clubs we are no exception to having a minority of fans that are too quick to write off a player after sometimes only a couple of appearances. The links I've supplied above on Carroll and Phillips hopefully explain the lack of wisdom in doing this. There's an element of futility in posting them however because the type of fans in question probably wouldn't read them anyway.

Not being funny, but I think I've been going long enough to make my own mind up on a player after a couple of games, to know whether I think they are any good or not.

Phillips = Steady player who will do ok.
Carroll = Too lightweight, will not do any cop.
Austin =Great striker who works his socks off and will get 10 to 15 goals this season.

Agree Jimmy but at the same time its worth taking on board what others have said about players who've had the chance to watch for them for a lot more than two games when at their previous clubs.
