Maybe Reading are showing the cash. If you'd rather play for Reading over top of the league QPR then it doesn't add up I don't thinkUnder Les Ferdinand:

Bridge is on big money plus BAE is a million times better. Baird would have been a squad player here at best which is why he's gone to Reading and Sharp was going to sign for the first club that met Southampton's requirements.
Sharp is a slight miss but that depends who we bring in this week.Comment

They aren't Prem quality and for the money/contracts that were offered, I guess the club didnt feel it was worth it especially if our aim is to go back up immediately.Comment

I think its because we now have a plan in place for wages and it looks like were sticking to it which I am pleased to see.
