  • We missed three to Reading

Cannot understand how Reading took away three players from under our noses. Bridge, Baird and now Sharp. Must be trying to stop us from being runaways!

Maybe Reading are showing the cash. If you'd rather play for Reading over top of the league QPR then it doesn't add up I don't think
    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Bridge is on big money plus BAE is a million times better. Baird would have been a squad player here at best which is why he's gone to Reading and Sharp was going to sign for the first club that met Southampton's requirements.

Sharp is a slight miss but that depends who we bring in this week.

They aren't Prem quality and for the money/contracts that were offered, I guess the club didnt feel it was worth it especially if our aim is to go back up immediately.

I think its because we now have a plan in place for wages and it looks like were sticking to it which I am pleased to see.

As above Sharp is the only one who I would have gone out on a limb for

You speak the truth mate. Bang on. We've had 2 years of beating other clubs to signatures...

We need to sign 'heart and soul' players now. Thats why the likes of Dunn are here.

Has sharp actually signed for them. If so it's not reported anywhere .
