history means nothing, of course. it's the 38 games that are left that matter now, but we've got something to build on. we're hard to beat and to grumble and make out that we're relegation candidates in disguise seems a bit daft.

I think the main thing is we have 20 points are top of the league and haven't played well.

How long does it take for players to gel? 4 or 5 months? Should be playing like champions any day now!
