Baird snubs QPR and agrees Reading move

His decision is a blow for Rangers, who fully expected him to eventually sign despite Baird stalling over putting pen to paper.

    Good news IMO

We didnt want to pay him what he wanted - and therefore we didnt take him on board.

Who the fuk does he think he is?
Delusions of grandeur if you ask me.
We are top of the league and favorites to go up, and he would be in a perm side next season and he says no. Ha ha .
Maybe Arsenal or United are cavorting him.
          Mug
          Bet he ends up nowhere.

Redknapp confirmed he is joining reading as they have offered higher wages that's also the reason we didn't get Wayne bridge.

Great news. We are really turning into a very well run club.
They seem to be playing a dangerous game though.

Would have been 4th choice centre half at Rangers

So you want players like Baird that are just after a move for money then yeah, worked so well last season that did.
Although I do agree, our defence is proper shite and needs adressing urgently, and if that means over paying mercenaries, then we should do it asap, before we start leaking even more goals.

If it was a delay over money and he was hanging it out for more we're better off without him, we all know by now its better to have a player who wants to sign for the club and not for the monthly bank statement.
