    Surely Not ..........Defoe !!

I know its only paper talk and probably lazy journalism ....But ........Now that we are sitting at the top of the league would we be able to get Defoe ????

Not likely to start for Spuds ( our mother ship it seems) during a world cup year ...Guaranteed starter for us .........

We could afford his wages and are probably the only other team in the land that he could realistically go on loan to !!

I can't see how playing in the Championship week in , week out ...banging in goals for fun . maintaining his fitness etc could do him any harm with regards to England selection .....if anything his confidence would rocket !!!

Can someone tweet Uncle Tony and ask him for all my xmas pressies at once !!!!

The lack of service we put into the box I fear Dofoe would not have a field day in the bush at the moment

Think this is lazy journo stuff, and old at that.
But i will say Defoe fears for his WC place with his lack of 1st team football. So would regular champs football help him with this?

I would say champ football is better then none at all. Better to smash in 30 in the Champ then perhaps 10 playing half the games in prem

Loan to Janury is good for everyone. He'll need a strong end of the season in the Prem I feel
            Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
            And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Maybe this has got some legs now.....don't get why it would be an emergency loan though? Why emergency? Why not just a normal loan?

Think its got something to do with paperwork and ease of the loan when you're keeper or strikers are injured and you need one in an emergency due to this.

Not read the link but isn't he named in their 25 man squad ?
How would it work out if they got a shed load of injuries ? Could they call him back ?
"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

Ah Ok Jim thanks! Its the injuries to AJ and BZ that would make it an emergency then.....! Got it!

Because we haven't got any strikers at the club now that are fit, that's an emergency to me although we ALL knew it would happen with Bobby and AJ.

But if he did go out on loan does that leave Spurs in the same position as us i.e. one fit striker the new guy and Adebayor has been bombed out. I cannot see this happening

i cant see it happening either, but he has been speaking to football focus like clint did last week, bemoaming the fact he is always on the bench.

He's getting paid big bucks to do a job for Spurs, and if that means sitting on the bench as a reserve then so be it.

Perhaps he should've put in a transfer request during the summer and gone to a club that would've played him regularly.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
