He was shot before the injury due to age, he won't recover from that. That's our dough gone forever. Gutted for him, and us.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
I must say, the standard of comedy on this forum is truly amazing and knows no boundaries. But that has got to be up there with one of the funniest one liners ever. Take a bow man, take a bow. I'm in creases here. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.Comment

I've got one mate who's a surfer, who's had 3 operations at the best places at great expense, and who has never fully recovered.
Ditto a mate who was a professional rugby player destined to play for England (4 operations)....... and now is a RFU coach and mentor at the ripe old age of 24.........Comment

It probably depends on the loan contract. I know Andros Townsend went back to Spurs last season when he was injured, but I assume that is because they knew they wanted him back at the end of the season. With our loanees, I think it is slightly different because they are possibly on loan because the other club does not want to pay their full wages.
DJ was injured last season while on loan and I don't think he came back to the Club. Remy was obviously injured when he went to Newcastle but still left the Club.
Diakite was injured the first season at Rangers when he was on loan, but he stayed at the Club.
Possibly they only return to the Club if we request it, otherwise any team who was unhappy with a player could say they were injured and send him back.Comment
