Thought his orange boots clashed with Austin's yellow ones

Spot on Rangers77 we improved in the second half when Harry changed the shape of the team

        Well here's Redknapp's assessment:

“Tom reminds me of Michael Carrick, and I signed him (Carroll) when he was 15 and he plays like Michael. Tom sees everything. He never gives the ball away. He never gets caught with it and he’s a fantastic passer. He keeps passing the ball to someone in his own team. He keeps passing to someone with the same shirt as him. And in training here at QPR he blew everyone’s brains out. Bang, bang, bang went the passes; he’s got such quick feet.”

Good find there Stan......Just proves that Harry knows more than some of our "know-it-all" fans.

Thats why he is paid millions of pounds a year. However, those who actually went to the match today can make a fairly decent assessment of his perfiormance. I was underwhelmed so were many others by the sounds of it.

If you don't like all the horrible nasty comments maybe you should log off before you get too upset, put xfactor and sip a nice glass of pinot grigio

Sorry but Carroll was very poor today. Appreciate that he's young and it's his debut and that he may improve, but we were overrun in midfield during the first half. Once we changed to 4-5-1 he looked a bit better, but I was not impressed at all.

He reminded me of the day Jason Puncheon played for us, give him time and he will be ok
puncheon was written off after 1 game by some but has not
                  Done to bad.

Shouldn't you be doing some studying, like learning to write English properly?
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

I suppose some disappointment at 5 wins and a draw after 6 games is a sign of just how far the club has come in a few months.
My view would be that it is easy to underestimate what Henry+Barton deliver when paired in the middle - them two are like a brick wall that means the team is always 50/50 in CM at worst, which a vital part of the game. Also I still think Carroll should be at #10 or on the flank to give him time to settle to the team/championship.
Anyway 27 players in/out and joint top of the table - plenty to do but could be a lot worse.

In a nutshell for me Carroll & Phillips both very underwhelming & literally had zero impact on the game. BUT who did play well? SWP when he came on was lively. O Neill stepped up well second half & Dunne was solid throughout the rest were very average so not the best game to judge them on.

Oh and lets not mention Zamora as we won today & I don't want to read anything depressing.

Austin , neddy and green all played well

                              The midfield was terrible today
