We're not exactly heavy with strikersOriginally posted by Jeems View PostIn place of who right now?Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes

Yeah I agreeOriginally posted by californiahoop View PostI was referring to bringing him on off the bench with more then a few mins to go, I would like to see him on from about the 65/70th min.Under Les Ferdinand:

Don't see Harry putting him in in front of Austin, Johnson, let them do the job they're meant to do also think with the abundance of midfielders we have think in some games Hoillett may play in an advanced role as a second striker if one of the 2 main ones are out?Originally posted by californiahoop View PostI think he needs to be given a go.

His chance will come but he may have to wait a while,

When do you think his chance will come then Dave?
Sad thing about todays game is that, we can't risk him or Sharif cos we have spent so much money in the let couple of years and we need to get back into the top tier for that money, to keep us financially viable. Then once we are up again (fingers crossed), are we not going to buy a ten to twenty million striker to ensure next time we are up there, we stay up. So when do the likes of the two youngsters mentioned EVER get a chance?
And that's just with a 'small' club like us.

I think Austin deserves to be dropped but I feel it's a confidence thing. When he scores his first goal he will flyOriginally posted by Jeems View PostSo who would you play him in front of?
I think he should come off the bench for the last 30 minutes though, he's better then Zamora so our third choice strikerUnder Les Ferdinand:

He will probably get the odd chance of the bench? But not sure Harry will put him in, prob go for experience of the 3 strikers we have, also Harry may look for another striker in Jan, and I'm almost sure Palace will try and come back for Johnson. But hope he stays? but sadly the way is now that teams don't blood young players, so think Hitchcock might have to wait, also they may let him go on loan to get some games?Originally posted by jimmycarter View PostWhen do you think his chance will come then Dave?
