    Hitchcock keeps scoring

I think he needs to be given a go.
Watford have beaten Queens Park Rangers 3-1 in a friendly at London Colney this afternoon.
    Kept the faith!

Drop Austin and let AJ go to Palace, and risk everything on a young lad with one senior goal and about ten minutes playing time.

We're not exactly heavy with strikers
        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
        And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

I was referring to bringing him on off the bench with more then a few mins to go, I would like to see him on from about the 65/70th min.

To be fair HR is alternating the subs with Hitchcock and Shariff, and that is all he can do at the moment, both not likely to start a game, and need to be brought on slowly. Hitchcock has played 2 mins so far this season, and 1 goal, so looking good for the youngsters

His chance will come but he may have to wait a while,

When do you think his chance will come then Dave?
Sad thing about todays game is that, we can't risk him or Sharif cos we have spent so much money in the let couple of years and we need to get back into the top tier for that money, to keep us financially viable. Then once we are up again (fingers crossed), are we not going to buy a ten to twenty million striker to ensure next time we are up there, we stay up. So when do the likes of the two youngsters mentioned EVER get a chance?
And that's just with a 'small' club like us.

I'd play him in front of the midfield......... it's where strikers do their best work
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

I think Austin deserves to be dropped but I feel it's a confidence thing. When he scores his first goal he will fly

I think he should come off the bench for the last 30 minutes though, he's better then Zamora so our third choice striker

He will probably get the odd chance of the bench? But not sure Harry will put him in, prob go for experience of the 3 strikers we have, also Harry may look for another striker in Jan, and I'm almost sure Palace will try and come back for Johnson. But hope he stays? but sadly the way is now that teams don't blood young players, so think Hitchcock might have to wait, also they may let him go on loan to get some games?

I once took a 100 wickets in a season at an average of 5.3. Admittedly the standard wasn't very high.
