Thanks Bush.Forgot to mention I sold Stan Bowles house for him in Ruislip many years back.Pre-war mid terrace and you'd have no idea it was his house.If I remember correctly,2 or 3 kids were being fed in their high chairs by Mrs Bowles like a production line.Their wasn't a hint,be it photos,programmes,cups etc to suggest it was Stans house.Then a smell of after shave came wafting down the stairs and it was the man himself dressed up to the nines in a tie and camel hair coat.Next minute there was a knock on the door and it was Gerry Francis collecting Stan to take him to the dogs.Nothing changes.

Great story. Mind Stan hadn't any cups or medals to put in a display case, alas......
