Yeah we do. Harry was able to get rid of Boswinga because, as he explicity said, the crowd had turned on him. That saved us £65K pw for three years. Us booing Hughesless prompted Tony to get rid of him. It works. But it should be used sparingly, only for the most egregious pi ss takers, and only when the team is doing badly, not when it is doing well.Comment

Sometimes people have to make a (educated) judgment call yes. But why chose the option which hurts the team you are there to support?Just because you don't know exactly what is happening behind the scenes all the time it doesn't imply you're "clueless". At the end of the day, human beings have to make a judgement of some sort or the other in all walks of life. If a fan feels a player is lazy and isn't really interested, then the fan has a right to boo. If that player was not 100% fit, then it is the job of the club to make that be known after the game.
I'm not questioning the right for anyone to boo. I'm just saying it's seems like the opposite of supporting.
As for letting us fans know I do not agree. Sometimes it's not in the best of interest of the club to let everyone (fans, other teams, media) know.Comment

Huh? We booed them because, having watched them for months, we knew the likes of Boswinga and Park et al would get us relegated. We were right. Booing when players are sh1t and the team is in free fall is a preventative measure.Comment

Aren't the players part of the club? In fact an asset of the club who sometimes play well, sometimes play bad and it's up to the manager to decide who plays or not? Not the fans. I already explained twice why I think the fans shouldn't make team selection decisions (but they can if they want to). Please feel free to question those arguments.Comment

As I see it HR wanted to play Bosingwa (because he thought he was the best LB at disposal at that time) but was forced to substitue him. He stuck with Bosingwa for several games and I do not think he was our worst player.Yeah we do. Harry was able to get rid of Boswinga because, as he explicity said, the crowd had turned on him. I remember that article and it sounded to me HR didn't have much choice because of the booing. He had to be sold because of the fans. Even if HR wanted him to stay he had no choice. Instead the fans decided.Comment

Well said the players are representing the club, they are assets you're right.....Marshy just argues the opposite of anything positive about QPRAren't the players part of the club? Ninety nine point nine percent of R's thought Boswinga was a terrible player for us. Ninety nine point nine nine are happy he's gone. Watch Danny Simpson closely next time you get a stream. Now there's a right back with talent and spirit. As I see it HR wanted to play Bosingwa (because he thought he was the best LB at disposal at that time) but was forced to substitue him. ROFL. Nonsense. You knew we would get relegated before we got relegated? You boooed and we still got relegated? What? Doesn't you booing contribute in a way to us getting relegated?
As for booing park, the first time was in january when he was coming back from an injury. The previous months he was out injured. The months before he was injured he was voted here to be motm or top 3 in a few games.Comment

If the players are working hard, then I won't boo them.
If the players are being lazy, then they're not being good representatives of the club, and I will boo them.
The bottom line is, it is the club that I support, not the players. If the player is dedicated to the club, then I will support him, if he isn't, then I won't. But the club, that I will always support.Comment

I'm not questioning whether or not Bosingwa should have been allowed to leave. I think people were a little bit too hard on him, often basing their opinion on off the pitch reasons. I thought he played well when he was given another chance when everything was sorted according to HR. For example he much improved or set pieces and cross deliveries from the right. Defense was never one of his stronger sides. I remember one incident when Bosingwa didn't get stuck in in a tackle close to the center of the pitch which resulted in us conceding. Most people here blamed Bosingwa when in fact it was Hill who didn't mark his player who then went on to score. It's too funny.Last edited by madara; 05-09-2013, 05:42 PM.Comment

FYI If you boo someone who represent the club then indirectly you are booing the club. .The players represent the club.

Roll round on the floor as much as you like, mate. Real fans know the team were to blame for what happened to us, some players more than others, not us fans. That includes your idol who was sh1 t every single time he played for us with the nano second exception of his assist at Southampton. Having watched the Rs be relegated four times I know something about this. And I know that booing doesn't relegate a team but that underperforming players with bad attitudes do (which is why they get fu@king booed......).ROFL. Nonsense. You knew we would get relegated before we got relegated? You boooed and we still got relegated? What? Doesn't you booing contribute in a way to us getting relegated?
