Think last night showed how lost we would be without him.

Surely we must fight to keep him

Totally clueless without him. The only player with a natural footballers brain. Great work that would be, ruin the whole heart of the side for 3 million, but spend ten million in total on a bloke who cant score and one with a broken arm. Really thought we had learnt our lesson. So hope this paper bow locks.

In fact, had a long hard think, and hes that important to us, that if he goes then so does our chance of automatic promotion. In my honest opinion.

I had one of those this morning too. Gone down now though.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Joey was there last night and called into Harry office after the game. As was Richard Dunne so I'm not sure what to read of it. Hoping Harry called them in as his senior pro's to talk about the game and tell them they will both be regulars in his starting 11.

Was he left out of the team so as not to be cup tied if a prem club were to sign him?

Suddenly he is the heart of the team after a few good games!!
Talk about an over-reaction to one bad result in a competition we clearly do not care about.

Sod all to do with last nite, (tho i do think that was a taster of life without him), i have thought he is pivotal to our success since i heard he was playing on the first day of the season.

He has started well and I also hope we keep hold of him but I doubt Harry is placing all his eggs in that particular basket.

That's rubbish mate. He was there last night along with Richard Dunne. Harry rested him because he's played in every league game. I think I even remember hearing Kevin Bond allude to this in his press conference too after the game, assuming that made it on the recording. If you have a QPR Player account have a listen but I'm sure I remember him saying something about Joey Barton.

I agree with the original point.
Our midfield last night was shocking, embarrasing, dreadful, I can go on. Infact I can say the same for the majority of the team!
So no it is not an over-reaction but a very valid point. Let one of our best players of this new season leave and then watch the decline.

Don't think most prem teams care if a player is cup tied these days.Anyway he played at Exeter the round before

He didnt even play that well against bolton, but it isnt just his play, he manages and motivates the others into the right positions and what to do. And im seriously no Barton fan boy, i actually think Parker could of had the same effect. But no Parker means we have to keep Joey
