Looked like a player who had missed the opening of the season. In fairness kept showing for the ball but then gave it away. Better player then he showed tonight needs to up his fitness

Last season v spurs was brilliant so the ability is there.
A midfield of Phillips, Barton, Faurlin and Hoillet is dangerous if all gel this season !!

I've always thought he's one of those players who flatters to deceive. Case in point: those three tackles he made in quick succession against Wednesday (although funnily enough it was actually Karl Henry who won the ball back), yet all around it wasn't a great performance by any means.

Lets not forget the promotion season, Faurlin has the ability but isn't match fit and probably lacking in confidence a bit.

We need to forget about the promotion season and move on its history it was three years ago and players like faurlin and adel cannot keep hiding behind efforts of three seasons ago. It's the here and now that counts
