Matty not trying have a dig I have always said I would like both out but we aint going to get shot of Greene on his wages but someone is more is more likely to come for Ceaser on his higher wages cos of his Profile of being Brazil world cup goal keeper for commercial reason ,another reason I don't hold Ceaser in very high esteem is imo he was to quick to throw the towel in but still I could see he was better than Greene when he wanted to beOriginally posted by MattyRangers View PostCesar love in comment weren't necessarily aimed at you geez so apologies if it seemed that way. Thing is again yuo say getting shot of Green on his wages, yet he earns less than Cesar?Last edited by dogsrrs; 22-08-2013, 07:03 PM.

The only reason why Harry is, in your view, 'Team Green' is because the board are rightly looking to get all the high earners, which includes Cesar, off the wage bill. But I think it's worth remembering that Harry's first choice last season was Cesar so to me that says he rates him more highly. Personally, I feel more comfortable seeing Cesar in goal for us than Green. Anyway, like you and a few others have said, this debate has gone on far too long. I think we should all make sure we support whoever ends up in goal for us in whatever game because confidence is a massive thing for goalkeepers. Both are very good keepers and both come across as decent characters so let's back themOriginally posted by MattyRangers View PostI beg to differ with your opening statement mate; Championship = more long balls lumped in. We all saw what Cesar did (or didn't do) at Villa away when dealt a long ball into his 6 yard box. Green has been here done it & proven himself.
As for this "next fark up" - what a myth. The bloke had 1 high profile error for England and has been tarred with that brush ever since. In fairness had a c0ck up vs Swansea first game and a debatable one vs WBA - certainly no more than Cesar himself. I have no idea where this Cesar love in comes from, he has a far superior CV than Green and that's about it. Basing opinions solely on QPR games; there's not much in it for me. Both very good shot stoppers with the odd error to their game thrown in, just seems there's alot of selective memory when it comes to highlighting such errors.
You refer to harmony and wages citing Green's reported £50k a week income - yet Cesar is on even more than him!
Blue's aforementioned point ref team harmony and morale is a very good 1 and spot on - this English / British backbone we now have to the side is, IMO, going to be a huge factor in our success this season.
Anyway, this debate has been done 1000 times over and there will be no change; you're either Team Green or Team Cesar and, me personally, am Team Green with Arry seemingly so as well.
