The reason I think it will be a success is because it's in London, it will be multi-purpose, unique as it may have a retractable roof, it's being financed with naming rights, and it's part of a major development.

I have no doubts it will help us grow as a club and allow us to compete with the big clubs.

I would actually say the stadium secures our long term future with them. We need to ensure were more then just tenents however and have a stake in it

I think that's more to do with the fans then the ground. I was there for the Champions League semi final and for the first 15mins it was the best and loudest atmosphere I have ever been too then Rooney scored

Granted I've never sat in 1 of the obstructed views at LR, but I've never had a bad seat at LR, even with a lower loft seat right behind Paddy Kenny's goal.

Being of an age where I was not able to experience terraced grounds and that age of football grounds, I feel like an Loftus Rd-esque place is where those fans who remember and cherish that type of experience can go to reclaim a wee bit of that feeling again.
I think Emirates is a fantastic ground and puts Wembley in the shade.

Bad view in the upper tier???? you sure you were facing the right direction

I have sat all over the top tier at the Emirates and there is not a bad view in the place up their in my humble opinion

I guess it is hard for some fans to imagine why there aren't 1000s of QPR fans wanting to pay £40-75 every other week to watch QPR struggling to beat PL teams in an old, cramped, uncomfortable stadium with poor views from 1/3 of the seats not to mention the very poor standard of facilities like catering areas and toilets.

For those who have never been, I would recommend a visit to watch a game at the Emirates Stadium even if it is a League Cup tie.

I know nothing about the building trade but I would say once/if its all rubber stamped 5 years max. Like I said sooner it goes up sooner they start making money.

In terms of Steal (Mittel) and concrete (Amit) straight away there are two obstacles we do not really have to negotiate. Would also guess the designers used for the training ground would already be all over this and briefed

Not sure what you mean by businessmen and kids mate. Not everyone will be your local bricklayer or milkman, especially 7-10 years down the road when said new stadium would complete construction. Its a fact of life, that some of our fans will be of a different ilk.

But agree with most of your other points.
