the problem has that waste of space Hughes, Barton should have had a maximum fine and made to come to every game to watch and help out. Not sent out on loan. When you look back it was a heat of the moment thing , not something to basically bomb you out of a club for.

There were more than a few times last season, when Joey Barton would have been handy to have had on the field.

Wasn't up to me. I've got no choice but to get behind him when he's on the pitch, and hope he doesn't do something stupid again.

I think that Barton was "bombed out" for a little bit more than his antics at Man City......

Maybe he gets on better with Redknapp and the staff now, than with Waddock and Hughes (plus staff). After all I think his one appearance for England was under Steve McClaren.

Just to add fuel to the fire...

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Joey Barton mocks Jamie Carragher's high-pitched voice following his debut on Sky Sports.

That was intended for those that can't get over him.

                      Personally, I found it funny.

Sitting on the bog for 12 hours until you lost the use of your legs, would be more entertaining than a test match on day 1.

Guess he didn't really enjoy it.
