On our side its done. Fee agreed, personal terms offered, medical (?) done. We cant force him to accept or not talk to other clubs.

Exactly..it's like they all sit and watch sky sports to wait and see whose buying who! Agents will tout to every club. It appears quite rightly that the club has done their bit and offered a deal now it's up to the player. It appears people want their cake and eat it too. To be an itk but also want the club keep all deals secret until the guy is holding up a shirt on the pitch!

Not worried if Parker joins or not really, we will get some new faces in next couple of weeks and why worry about a player than doesn't even play for us yet. if he signs we can argue and discuss him then if he doesn't on to the next.

That's exactly not the point I was making. I don't believe that either.

Harry needs to shut up about the players we're after, not to keep it a secret from other clubs but to avoid making himself and us looking foolish when it doesn't happen.

i also appreciate he is responding to questions, but plenty of other managers find themselves able to skilfully dodge giving anything away.
