this is all a poker game now. the key phrase in this is "play" ("if I have to stay at QPR to play in the second division then there wouldn't be a problem")

it's been widely reported that scolari has told the entire brazil squad that, if they want to be at the world cup, they need to be playing week in, week out - he doesn't care at what level, but they need to be playing regularly. the comments were assumed to be mostly aimed at cesar.

hopefully the board just call his bluff and tell him that if he stays, he's staying as the back up.
