Acceptable or not??

Got a colleague at work who wants to support the r's.
Problem is we would be his 3rd club, he supported united from 9-23 then realised he was being a ****** so decided to support a London club....spurs.
He's been a spud for a couple of years now but recently found out our history of where we were formed our previous grounds etc etc,he also came on a stadium tour with me which didn't help.
Based on all of this he now wants to support the r's...he has always had a soft spot for us,frequented loftus rd even during our really dark days,he's local(Kensal rise) and to be fair whenever he's been to a game with me his support for the r's has ALWAYS
Been VERY vocal and as he tells me, he has"falling in love with his local club".
Do i welcome him with open arms or tell him where to go???

Welcome him. Why wouldn't you. Lots of people support various clubs before settling on a particular club. What's wrong with that.

I tend to agree with all of you, my only mishap is that he's in his mid 20's.

Ideally,it should be in the blood and passed down through the generations........welcome him but be very aware that he could jump ship yet again....jumping ship seems to be in HIS blood doesn't it....a football supporting vagrant!!

I supported Gordon Hill! But he was a player!!
Not sure how old you are, but he used to play for United alongside these three giants; Jimmy Greenhoff, Stuart Pearson and Steve Coppel.
Gordon Hill was eventually sold to us, and in that way, I was guarded to the promised land.
